Uptown4, Inc. was founded by Ben Hornedo in 2002. Ben has been an IT (Information Technology) professional for over 20 years. He is currently founder/CEO/CTO of Uptown4, Inc., developing unique mobile and web solutions for clients using his solid experience and background. Prior to establishing Uptown4, Inc. Ben was a Senior Developer at Covansys, Inc. (previously Complete Business Solutions, Inc.) in New York City where he developed large scale CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solutions for high profile clients such as the New York Stock Exchange. Ben received his MCSE Certification (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) 1999 and also received his MCP+I certification (Microsoft Certified Professional specializing in Internet technology) in that same year. For several years Ben served as System/Network Adminstrator for large corporations and media organizations such as Mastercard International and Time-Warners RoadRunner group. Besides solid technical knowledge and experience Ben also served as a technology educator and communicator working with children and adults at The Family Academy in Harlem, New York and the Annenberg Network's Center for Educational Innovation, also in New York City. Some of Ben's key qualities are his ability to provide innovative solutions to technology problems using his experience in several areas, excellent communication skills and love of new technology and it's application.
